Ahida Correale
Ahida Correale launched her namesake business at the beginning of the pandemic, arguably one of the worst times to start a business. Ahida, like others, recognized the seriousness of the pandemic as hospitals filled up, society went into isolation, and faces became unrecognizable as everyone was told to mask up. From her individual and professional experience, she identified a way to bring a little bit of levity and happiness to the stark situation. Ahida put together a few samples of a denim, cotton-lined face mask that she embroidered with individual phrases and expressions. So cute and comfortable, she sent a few of them to friends and family and there was an immediate attraction. Through word of mouth and social media, requests for the masks came from all over the country and world. Partnering with manufacturers locally in Los Angeles, she was able to meet demand and feels rewarded everyday when she sees someone wearing the mask, staying safe, having fun, and sharing their special message.
Don't just say it, wear it! Ahida believes it is important for people to smile, enjoy how they look, and share their voice! She designs clothing that is fun, personalized, and allows people to wear what they say. There is no better way for people to feel like individuals and stay connected in a socially distant world, then by providing in style clothing with a unique message for everyone to see.
